Roast not dark enough

I lived in Cambodia and Vietnam for a decade and love Vietnamese coffee. It took me forever to find this coffee and i was so excited, but, i need to use 8 heaped teaspoons of this to get my coffee strong enough in flavour.

To give context, i need to use TWO heaped teaspoons of the coffee i brought home from Vietnam after doing a coffee making course. I also want to be clear that i’m talking about the darkness and flavour strength of the roast. The caffeine is still the same which means I’m having 4 times the caffeine for the same amount of coffee. It also means I go through this coffee at 4 times the speed, which is unttenable.

Don’t get me wrong, this coffee is delicious, but if you want to make viet iced coffee, this roast is not dark enough, it is robusta bean, but it’s not roasted viet style.

Love Robusta, where is it?

I love Robusta and have been ordering it for a few years. Where is it, it’s been out of stock for so long and no other coffee comes close.
